"What a little gem Hill End Lodge was. We arrived late at night - cold and tired. John welcomed us warmly and Sue and Laura cooked up a storm for us. The place was warm and welcoming. Food and drinks were excellent and the atmosphere was just beautiful. Cabin was set in the most beautiful surroundings and cosy and comfortable. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return. Thanks all. "Good location. Supplies were minimal. No tissues provided and only one cake of soap for 2 nights and days for 2 people . The room were were appointed was CLEARLY VISIBLE TO all who entered the property and or those who chose to enjoy the on site Cafe. The only way to ensure our privacy was to have blinds drawn at all times…..thus a dark room day and night. We would have appreciated more consideration when appointing us to a room. There were plenty available.! Bernadette ."
