Overall we enjoyed our trip but this hotel has a strong mildew smell that no one seems to talk about. Our room was also full of condensation and I understand it is next to the beach but maybe they should invest in dehumidifiers to pull out the moisture. The food was not great but it also was not bad. Maybe a 5.5/10. The best restaurant was the seafood one in my opinion. Where this hotel wins me is on the service. The service was great and the employees are very well trained. 10/10. The drinks were not great and there is an up charge for specialty liquor. They charge an extra $5 for room service and an extra $30 per person for late check out. Also the pool feels slimy most of the time. In terms of cleanliness I think our room was cleaned well but the hotel itself, especially the pool area needs to be cleaned and scrubbed better.

Friendly staff, great food and location for easy access to local shows, shopping and vacation activities. NOTE: Bring your book passport because management has implemented new policies and they're not accepting the ID passport. There's an initial $15.00 non-refundable room charge. If you order room service there will be additional charges due during your exit. The room charge for food service is currently $5 but ask in advance.

Everything was well cared for and maintained except for the villa. I had read they were pretty dated and wasn’t concerned but by dated it meant there were issues of leaking bath tubs and air conditioning. Also had ants.
