"This is an awesome place. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, the grounds well-kept and inviting. The location is quiet with terrific night-sky views. There’s a pool if you’d like to take a day off from seeing the Atacama. It’s gated and has parking. All-in-all, highly recommended. A few things to consider — you need a car to stay here. It’s in Coyo, which is a few miles outside of San Pedro de Atacama proper and there’s no public transport. Also, almost no English is spoken at the property. Not an issue for us and for most you should be able to navigate and make your needs known with a few words of Spanish and 21st Century technology. "

"My stay at Hotel Kimal was amazing. The room was spotless and very comfortable, and the common areas were always clean and well kept. The staff were exceptionally friendly and courteous, always ready to help with anything I needed. The location is perfect for walking around town, and the atmosphere in the hotel is peaceful and relaxing. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it."
