"The gite is in a quiet street in the authentic and accessible mountain village of vicdessos. A car is handy for accessing some fabulous mountain walking. The gite is very well equipped with a good kitchen and bathroom. There is a good unfussy garden space with views. The sofa isn’t great but the main bed is comfortable. "Great location to tour a restored medieval castle and take drives through the Pyrenees! The castle is amazing and in very good condition. We took drives up to the Pyrenees the office of tourism recommended which we highly suggest you visit first it’s easy to find right in the main center. Breakfast was delicious every morning with yogurt and grains, and fresh homemade jams and fresh breads plus orange juice. The hosts do not speak English but we got along and everything we needed just fine!"
