I can only speak for the room we stayed in which was roadside, towards the front of the property. The room size was great (2 full beds) with a mini fridge, but the bathroom and shower was like an oversized closet with no shelves or cabinets to place bathroom items. Plus there was no fan of any kind in the bathroom and the steam from the shower lingered for quite awhile. The noise from the highway (Rt 22) and the adjoining rooms (walls have no sound separation) televisions or people talking at normal levels was far from ideal. Cannot recommend this hotel because of these issues with our room.

The room was newly remodeled, which we appreciated; however, the bathroom door wouldn’t shut. I went out in the parking lot and got a large stone to use to close it. Our only other inconvenience was with the television. The hotel has it set up to “store” settings. As it was explained to us, this is so that guests can’t alter the TV with their own apps, passwords, games, etc. Perfectly understandable but we were unable to adjust the volume, get the menu to stop popping up on the screen, etc. until someone from the office came with the Roku remote, which is kept in the lobby. Despite these small “problems,” we enjoyed our stay!

Very clean, convenient and otherwise quiet. Rooms need some updating . Furniture is old and heating was noisy . However here are the pluses: good sized fridge in spacious room with a microwave and plenty of room. Bathroom functional but needs updating. The breakfast area was quite good with a sun room with bistro wrought iron chairs and a couple of sofas (slightly old) near the hearth with a nice fire going. Very friendly staff. Slightly overpriced for the condition of the motel but the pluses outweigh the minuses. I’ll come back.
