"Very peaceful stay, considering it was Christmas party/event weekend. Excellent location, walking distance to all the attractions, pubs, bars and restaurants. The room and bathroom were perfect sizes, spotless with good lighting and extra mirrors. Love the toiletries (nice scent and no irritation). Fluffy and soft towels. Good wardrobe space with good steam iron/board. Good hairdryer. Extra coat hooks. Good seating space. Very comfortable bedding. Good room temperature. Good selection of Samsung TV channels including Sky news and Film4. Excellent tea/coffee station/ biscuit selection and love the complementary fridge items. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Excellent selection of beverages and food, cooked to perfection. All staff were friendly and polite. Extremely satisfied with our stay. "

"Room very comfortable and clean. Lovely bathroom. Unfortunately, there were events on in the ballroom two floors above and the very loud music made sleep difficult on both nights. Would definitely stay again, but in a room on first floor instead."

"Pleasantly surprised and would highly recommend. Room was spacious and clean. Loved the wines glasses! The breakfast was perfectly adequate and the shared kitchen clean and pleasant to sit in. We paid for carpark and were allowed to leave car the next for a visit of the city. A nice 20 minutes walk along the canal. Host very prompt and polite by text once we had booked. "Horrid Unable to stay. Smoke detector bleeping all the time. Owner not helpful. Had to go to Travel Lodge for rest of stay Bedding stained Unable to sit on toilet due to position of radiator. Floor boards gaps in them. Lamp in room unstable. No heating TV inoperable "
