We stayed for one night. Even though it was a short stay, the hotel made a very positive impression. The property is impressive, its appearance, decoration and welcoming atmosphere were noticeable. Car parking is easy and adjacent to hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. They are very courteous and treat you as a welcome guest. We can recommend highly.

Nice hotel, tucked away

Well serviced rooms, great staff, good food and all at a reasonable price. Very quiet, nice grounds, ample parking, good range of drinks from the bar, good selections (for us) on the menus, all in all a welcoming, comforting experience.

The stand out feature is the restaurant. We had the most incredible meal for dinner, truly exquisite! The bar was also lovely to lounge in. The hotel room itself was adequate, but would have befitted from a larger, and smart, TV to have enjoyed some wind down time, as well as a larger shower (it was very small in a very large bathroom).

We also liked the idea of supporting small business by bank transfer payments, but you did not sufficiently advise of pre notification requirements, and so we were thwarted.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at the hotel to celebrate our friend’s 60th birthday. Everything was perfect. Stunning location, helpful staff, immaculately clean throughout and superb breakfast. On the first night the staff went out of their way to seat us in our own private room for dinner. The food was excellent. Would highly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a peaceful stay in the countryside near to Lincoln.

Easter Treat

This Hotel is a an absolute treasure that combines relaxing comfort with professionalism. We received a warm welcome at reception, the rooms were stylishly decorated but homely and the overall layout of the guest areas made for an experience that was simultaneously classy but intimate. We had breakfast and dinner on both of the days of our stay and were impressed by the breadth and flexibility of the menus available and the high quality of the food and wine menu. All in all an excellent stay

Lovely hotel situated just outside city limits. Easily accessible. Plenty of good car parking with well maintained lawns. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Standard double room was a little on the small side but it is a Georgian property so to be expected. Perfectly adequate. Very clean and cosy. Bijou! Cosy seating areas in the lounge/bar. Breakfast was excellent. Good choice of hot dishes or continental buffet. Great customer service all round. Great value for money. Will definitely be back.
