We stayed in the rooftop apartment for 3 nights in Porto and loved it. Very spacious, beautiful bathroom, quiet sleeping area and comfortable bed, and an unbeatable central location for shopping, eating and seeing the sites. I highly recommend this property!

I stayed here for 4 nights. I was looking for something near the old city that was in the middle of it all, and that is exactly what I got. It is very central, about 100m from the old train station and near all the sites. Lots of food options and shopping. The apartment is large with a big bedroom in the back, a big bathroom, a long hallway/corridor to the main room. There is a balcony that looks over the cobblestone streets that is very busy with tourists and outdoor cafes, etc. There are a number of street artists that are just outside the balcony, and this can cause some noise during the day, but at night it is quiet. There are also double panes windows that cut down on the noise and shutters that you can close up tight for more privacy. Pedro greeted me and showed me around. As a host he was great and kept in touch with me as I was arriving. The apartment is very modern, recently renovated, and well appointed. It is in a very old building on a very old street, and overlooks many other old buildings probably dating back to the 1800’s. It’s very quaint but also very touristy. I highly recommend this.

The location is unbeatable. It is right in the center of the historical district of Porto. Easy walking distance to major tourist attraction sites. Right on the street where restaurants and shops are around. The apartment is well insulated and quiet. We utterly enjoyed our stay.

Deservingly called Design House

Extremely friendly reception from Pedro and his brother. Sofa bed was not made up as requested, but was done whilst my son and I went out for a drink, and this was nearly midnight ! Welcome bottle of water, biscuits, and small bottle of wine. Spacious apartment, balcony, and well appointed bathroom. Staircase to apartment stunning, but lift if required.

tThe apartment was very clean and quite large. My complaint is the noise starting about 8 at night. There must be a night club close by. The incessant pounding and throbbing coming through the walls was very irritating. For this reason my husband and I will Not return.

It was very welcoming from the beginnings to end. Everything was so clean and neat. Spacious room for all 4 of us. The breakfast they brought us really stared our day fully. Was able to enjoy every moment in the room and the recommendations that they suggested was amazing too. Love to stay in this property again if we visit porto.

Great place to stay!

Myo Design House was terrific! We had an entire apartment that included a little kitchen area, so it was very handy for storing left-overs or snacks. Everything was very clean and the amenities were generous and very nice, including good, thick towels. The owner (Joana) was very gracious and spent a lot of time with us when we arrived, not only explaining things in the apartment, but making restaurant suggestions and reservations, helping us with transportation ideas and taking time to show us sites and restaurants on a map she gave us. The house is centrally located on a pedestrian street with lots of restaurants nearby. The bedroom is the in the back so very quiet. Comfortable bed, too. We really enjoyed our stay here and recommend it highly.
