This is a very good location if you are in porto. I liked everything except the TV that was not working very well and was not fixed after request. But the location beats everything.

Good low priced place in central location.

We enjoyed our one night stay here. The owners are very nice and helpful. Good continental breakfast. Room was a bit small with 2 beds and it’s in a noisy area but that’s to be expected in this central location and good for what we paid, less than $100. I would stay here again.

Great location

Great location in the middle of Porto close to everything. The staff was really friendly and helpfull. The walls are very thin so all you can hear all the noise from the hallway/adjacent rooms. The room itself was alright, nothing spectacular but as you can expect for the price. Overall a fine hotel for a short stay.

Staff were friendly, room was small but it is affordable and in a great location. Plenty of great eats in the area. 24 hr desk, so felt everything is safe. Some street noise will be a problem if you’re a light sleeper. No elevator. A/C unit works, but hard to adjust.

If you want to stay at the Ritz, pay to stay at the Ritz. This place is the sort of place I love: simple, affordable, and located in an ideal place from which to tour the city on foot. This hotel hits the target on all points. While I was disappointed to find that the promised free parking was a mistake (now fixed) that's ok; there was an underground garage nearby and even with that cost included, we still paid less than most other hotels with free parking. Really, though, with a location just steps from the Torre dos Clerigos, it was incredibly convenient as a home base. So many of the best sights are an easy walking distance. I would absolutely stay here again.

Overall the location of this hotel is extremely convenient, close to many attractions. Unfortunately they do no actually have laundry despite saying that they do on Expedia, they actually laughed at us for even wasting about laundry. There is a laundromat around the corner but it gets very busy around 1700. It is very noisy, we could hear other guests alarms, children running around and staff arguing with each other. The bathroom was not clean, with other peoples body hair still in the bathroom
