A great place to explore Porto

Amazing apartment. We will be back

Amazing central propert with lovely staff and great communication. Lovely apartment had everything we needed and very central. Could not have been better. Thoroughly recommend. Oh and take earplugs. Not overly noisy but old building and creaky floorboards so they were a godsend. And no lift but this was on the listing so all good.

The property was lovely and very centrally located, which made it easy to get around. The only downside was that there was no lift, and we were staying on the 3rd floor. Travelling with a toddler meant we had to carry the pram up and down the stairs, which was a bit inconvenient. However, we were aware of this before booking and still chose to stay because of the great location and reasonable price. Communication was excellent—Alex responded instantly and provided helpful guidance on how to get around the city.

Amazing stay at this hotel with a wonderful crew-Sofia and Teresa! Thanks to them for all their help in our stay. Clean hotel & close to the city center. Wish we could have spent more nights here.

Pros: Location, helpful staff for checkin, spacious. Cons: No elevator, stairs without railings - difficult with my balance imparement, WiFi is a joke, poor sound insulation between floors - we were listening to our neighbors above us every step all nigh. Conclusion: This place is grossly overrated at 9.6. I would give it a 7. Would never stay there again.

Pretty good and clean accommodation

Location was good. Cafe, restaurants, supermarkets and laundry machines nearby. Everything was very fine except a shower hose. Only rain-shower was possible, which couldn't be weak point at all. Alex was exception to explain what I need. Thanks.

Excellent hosts, perfect for a stay with friends. Has excellent facilities. So close to lots of bars and restaurants. Only issue was the wifi, when you connected it didn’t work. Sink was leaking but was offered a new room instantly! Would definitely recommend

Apartment had every thing you needed, kitchen was adequately stocked although we only used the coffee machine. The bathroom neefs upgraded, the shower cubicle was awful tiles marked, bad fixings. This was a "superior apartment" not sure about the word "superior" it was a very standart apartment. Like most people say it is fantastic location, five minute walk from the metro, lots of restaurants, bars on your door step. The floors are horrendous the squeeky floor boards are awful you can't sleep for thr people above. We love a balcony on holiday so the main reason we booked this apartment was for the large balcony but we could not use it. The balcony is shadowed by lots of orher buildings, very old horrible buildings that are immediately in front of you. You can't open the blinds unless you are fully dressed. There are two cats that live on the balcony (I am allergic to cats) so we couldn't even open the balcony door slightly to let some air in because they were trying to come in The fact we couldn't use the balcony put a real damper on our holiday, it was 30 degrees and would have been nice to go relax on the balcony instead of walking around the whole day.

We loved the set up of the property, clear communication, great location (walkable to all the places to see) and nice amenities. We did however find the building a bit noisy as you can hear everyone in the building in the hallways and walking above. Beds not very comfortable to sleep in.

The apartment at BO Almada was lovely and well equipped with a nice balcony to sit out on (view of derilect building not so good!). The area was fab - lots to see and do and many bars - a couple just outside the door. Buzzing nightlife just up the road and a ten minute walk down to the river front. Staff very reachable and helpful- would definitely recommend.

We loved our stay at BO - Almada 346 and cant thank the hosts and staff enough for helping us have an amazing stay in such a beautiful city. Even before we departed, we had communications to ensure we arrived safely and they even organised transport to and from the airport. Our apartment was fantastic; clean and spacious with a lovely balcony to relax out on. We enjoyed making our breakfasts in the kitchen. A special thank you to Alex who was basically our tour guide and helped us see all the incredible sights and experiences the city had to offer and went above and beyond for us. We cannot recommend this place enough and would defintely stay here here again.

Communication with the apartment manager was good until we contacted them about noise from the restaurants below. On our first night music was played all night through to the morning & my partner couldn’t sleep. We contacted the apartment manager & didn’t get any reply. On coming back to the apartment the next night, we had the same problem so my partner went down to speak to both restaurants & the music was turned off at a decent hour. Very disappointed by no response from apartment manager. Apt is lovely but poor view from terrace, wooden stairs & floors mean you hear all comings & goings so no, we wouldn’t stay here again.

Floors were VERY creaky. Shower door doesn’t close properly causing water to leak out onto the floor. Hairdryer end is melted which stops the diffuser from being attached. Towel rack is coming out of the wall. Alex was not very concerned when I politely mentioned these things that could be fixed for future guests. The photos of the apartment are very outdated. We thought that we had chosen a newly renovated property but, that was not the case. The area was great! Nice quiet neighbourhood that felt very safe. Very walkable to many things. Self checkin and checkout was convenient and easy.

The apartment is spacious, clean, and quiet. It is within downtown so you can easily walk to all the main attractions. Metro station is also close by. Sophia was extremely responsive to messages and helpful. If I come to Porto again, I will definitely stay here.

Good location, bathroom was a little old and the shower door has issues. The hallway stairs are pretty noisy but it was nice to have a little kitchenette. Some of the bathroom accessories were stripped from the wall and difficult to hang anything.
