The bed was very comfy and pillows the right mix of sizes. I requested to be far away from the Pub and they did exactly that. While carpets in hotel rooms are not my favorite there was no smell so were clean. Would stay again

Liked: Cleanliness
The room was very clean and the lady at the front desk was so friendly and nice. Our room had a large flatscreen TV as well as a mini fridge, coffee maker, microwave and air conditioner. We would definitely stay here again.
This was a nice, quiet, comfortable place to stay on our roadtrip to Tofino. After a few unpleasant nights in Duncan, thia was a huge step for a much better price. Will ve stating here again.

This property was an inexpensive place to sray while we checked out the area the staff were very friendly and the hotel was clean but quite dated
Quite run down and the staff at check were not helpful. Two beds in the room. One very saggy and the other was hard as a rock. Shower head was very low and my husband was taller than the level. Coffee make took “forever” to brew a pot.
One thing that was was very good was the the quality of the towels - very soft!
Its a great little place, easier on the dollar, definitely dated, but okay. A bit older smell as expected from an old building, but rooms are clean, beds are comfy, has tv, fridge and micro. Good coffee in the room. Its a reasonable place, staff is friendly. But if you are looking for highclass, it isn't for you. But we have stayed a few times and its a good place. Not fancy but good little place to rest. :)
The hotel is newly renovated, quiet and clean. Staff are nice. The location is convenient, it's between Tofino and Parksville, so we can play in Parksville for the first day, and Tofino in the second day. Definitely will come back for next Tofino trip.

There was no hot water as there was a problem that hadn't been fixed for a week. We were only told the day of check in so.it was too late to find something else. Alao the hotel did not look like the pictures building was old and rundown. Other than that it was clean and had everything in the room

It’s a decent hotel for the price. A little run down and some things like bulbs being out in lights. For the price though, is a decent place to crash with comfy beds.
Room was okay. Bed was alright, but pillows were horrible, had to go buy new ones. The pub attached to the hotel had great service and food. Walked around the area, not much to see.

The hotel was a bit worn-down but it looked like some upgrading was going on. The room was ok, but the laundry room was very filthy and dirty. The staff was very friendly.
I surprisingly slept well for how thin the walls were. Other guests were respectful. It is a very convenient location and a good price for a nightly accommodation. The linens seemed fresh.
But I will share that the room had stained towels, no extra toilet paper, there was bird excrement all over the exterior window, no fan in the bathroom for moisture, and the front desk lacked any customer service or sense of friendliness. A smile really would make a different impression with customers. Only okay for a one night stop if there is nowhere else to stay.
It’s an older property with some history to it I would say. Lotta loggers and fishermen have stayed here over the years. The current owners and staff are doing their best to make it presentable. I applaud their effort.
