"The property is convenient for visiting the local attractions especially by open top bus and boat. There is also an abundance of pubs and restaurants in walking distance. The hotel is an older property, but the room was comfortable and clean. "
"I would not recommend this place to stay, old property and with need of renovating, no air conditioning, no toilet fan extraction, very hot room... sorry to say but as a franchise i believe they could do more for the price they are charging...."
"The staff were very friendly and overall hotel seemed to be in good condition, however the shower had literally NO pressure.. I'm talking it kinda of dripped a little mist.. that's about it. I couldn't even wash my hair. Also we were only given one towel for a double room and had to ask for more toilet paper as we were only given half a role. For the price I feel we got what we paid for, but now know to spend a bit more in the future"
"Central location, limited communication. Phoned several times the number given and not once was the phone pickedup. Left a message which was unreturned. You can talk to an AI bot, not a human. "

Quayside Quarters
10/10 Excellent
"An excellent location and the directions provided by the host were spot on. In a beautiful peaceful location and a stones throw from the harbour front. Once inside the property we were not disappointed. Spotlessly clean and the welcome book included all the details we needed, not only about the accommodation but also suggestions for restaurants and bars all within walking distance. The host was amazing, leaving us to enjoy our stay but responding straight away to any questions we had. Highly recommend this property, and we wouldn’t hesitate in returning again. "
"All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. We felt at home and nothing was too much trouble. The food was good and the bed was comfortable. Location great for experiencing the quay area of Poole. We had a wonderful time"
"The Hotel du Vin is not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Our room was spacious, clean and airy. The bed was comfortable and the linen was crisp and white. We had a fantastic hot and powerful shower in a large bathroom."
"David is a very special host And a stay at The Merchant House is a rather special experience. You are a step away from the quayside and from restaurants etc "
"The Anchorage is a great place to stay. It's a few steps away from the quayside and is well served by restaurants and pubs. Our room, Rm4, was extremely clean and well equipped with a fridge, coffee and tea making facilities, hair dryer, soft towels and quality bed linen. We will definitely rebook if we come to Poole again."
"The flat was very clean. Very much enjoyed the smell of the linen and towel as it made a change from industrial cleaning. It was so fresh and white.Well done the laundry team"
"This property is in an ideal location/walking distance for poole quay and also the travel using trains or buses. There are several eateries near the property and also a local Sainsbury’s and other takeaways.Even with the private parking, you could easily leave the car if you wanted to and have a day or 2 off from driving. The communication was spot on,details etc.We used the nearby pubs, all okay."
" It's a great spot for a few days in Poole, quirky little house with two sets of stairs (you'll need to be able manage them or you'll be stuck!)Has everything you need though the TV reception was a bit patchy. As we hired a car the garage is good to have - the Ford Kuga was a bit of a squeeze but it did fit.Would stay there again if we are back in Poole."
