"This was only a one night stay but it was great - good room with quiet air conditioning, helpful staff at 11.00 p.m. check-in, and well cooked breakfast with plenty of choice. Can thoroughly recommend this hotel."

"Fantastic location very near to the quayside and all the restaurants and cafes, which was perfect for our stay as we did a few boat trips. Very well appointed room - the owners have great taste and eye for detail. Communication from the owners beforehand was excellent with road directions and detailed description of the accommodation i.e. it's a loft room with sloping ceiling and there is a bathtub and handheld shower. Two minor criticisms are that we found the mattress too soft and there are no surfaces in the bathroom to put your toilet bag - this is an observations at many places I've been - so I had to put my toilet bag on the cistern."

"Great location just a short walk to the sea and prom. Staff were lovely and helpful. Room was large and very comfortable, even used the bath! We did eat in the restaurant and the food was very good, just like the breakfasts."

"OK room - no air con but understandable give the age of the building. Bed was OK, but traffic noise is noticeable, especially with the window open (remember there is no air con), so not the best nights' sleep. Staff were fantastic though, especially the breakfast server and the breakfast itself was great."

"A very warm and welcoming hotel Good location Staff very helpful, welcoming and approachable Quite overnight ( a little noise from the pub downstairs ) Restaurant good quality food in the evening and a very good tasty breakfast cooked to order Room was of a good size some areas need a little TLC One issue was loud doors closing from other rooms Good wi-fi coverage throughout the building But overall a nice comfortable stay would recommend"

"The Hotel has an absolutely unrivalled location.Views are incredible. I was saddened to hear of the uncertainty of its permanence but the building does require some refurbishment. Staff were excellent and room comfortable with stunning sea view. A suggestion.... it's not a Commercial Hotel so why start your breakfast service at 7am.a far better time for guest..and hotel would be 8am till 10:30."

"Fabulous stay The upgrade was Huge!! All Staff are so friendly and very nice..breakfast was delicious and a good variety I could literally touch the sand from my deck..so beautiful and amazing stay Next time all I want more is a small fridge and safe box the view was fantastic watch the tide and walk on the powder soft sand"
