"Room close to lift so very noisy For a king room the bathroom was tiny and very hard to move in it. Other than that hotel was nice Didn’t have breakfast but coffee in reception today served by a lovely friendly man was lovely Reception staff lovely too VERY slow lift. Ok for us on floor 1 but some of our friends on 7 had a lot of steps as 20 mins plus for lift not great"

"We had a pretty good two night stay here whilst visiting friends. The hotel is central and close to all amenities, the arena and places we wanted to visit. We had a few misunderstandings with the room type but it was worked out eventually, Housekeeping here are phenomenal and the place sparkles all the time. There were two things we didn’t like - firstly the parking is very limited. Although there is a car park it is small and rammed full - the £10 per night charge is reasonable for the area - but if you’ve paid for your stay, gone out for the day and come back to zero space for your car, you have limited options. Also on the Saturday night we stayed they had live music, it was so loud it reverberated on the 5th floor, we had to leave the lobby area as it was so disruptive."

"This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this hotel. This time we booked a family room with a bed settee, which was situated on the Plymouth Pavillions side of the hotel, which was a lot quieter than the road at the front of the hotel (we don’t have a main road where we live, so not used to the traffic noise) . It was nice to have air conditioning in our room this time, although the unit could have done with a service, to make it more efficient. Staff were cheerful and helpful as ever, and even managed to get us an early check in. We will be back :)"

"We flew in late to Bristol airport and notified the hotel via telephone that we were destined to be too late for check in. Rachael arranged for our key to be left for us which really made our arrival pretty relaxing, all things considered. Breakfast was grand, the location is very central and the showers were great."

"Very nice clean hotel, however the rooms are a bit dated and there is no air con in the bedrooms so I had a very hot night as the one window only opened around 100mm!"
