"This was my third stay at Cesar Lanzarote in three years, and this stay, likes the others, did not disappoint. The hotel is in such a lovely quite setting, and all of the guests have plenty of space to do what they would like to do, despite the hotel itself not having that may rooms. "This is the 2nd time we have stayed at The Grand Hyett , previously as the Dreams. Nothing has changed, we love the preferred club rooms, the concept of the lounge, being able to nip and make a coffee or have sandwich. The rooms are amazing, with a massive big TV , filled mini bar to be used free of charge, lovely toiletries, slippers, dressing gowns etc, all that you would expect from a hotel of this standard. We had a lovely room overlooking the adult only pool and the Rubicam Marina, it is right opposite a lovely beach We would definitely recommend the Grand Hyett Plays Blanca , we cannot wait to go back"

"Pros (all our own opinions)Supermarket is a just a stones throw awayBedrooms were clean and tidy Bathrooms were clean.reasonably near to the marina,still a steep walk back.Ac works fine in all rooms. Kitchen fridge / freezer works well and is quite large.Nice hot water from electric water heater.Plenty of wardrobe storage space in each room.Pool cleaned and attended to.Plenty of bath and hand towels changed frequently.Cons (all our own opinions)The outlook is to the back of the Costa Calero hotel when your sat at the outside table. No real sea view.Unfinished Building works and a rubbish tip directly in front of you which you can over look from your outside seating area. Not mentioned in villa description.For the money paid for this villa, you’d expect better quality furnishings. No cushions in lounge. One pool umbrella even though I specifically emailed and asked prior to arriving. I was assured there is plenty for three people. The villa is very dull and gloomy inside generally.No nonslip bath mat provided when stood in the en-suite bath having a shower. Older folks beware. Some of the glasses in the kitchen were stained.Could do with a trip to Ikea and replace missing cups, saucers, dishes. Very sparse.No WiFi signal in the rear bedrooms of the villa. No natural daylight or ventilation in the shared bathroom. Nothing in the villa, no coffee, tea, salt, vinegar, dishcloths, clothes pegs ! We had to buy everything."

"After a couple of hick-ups with our room in the beginning that were sorted out well, we liked the room very much. We spent 2 weeks there while travelling the whole island with our rented car. We had a nice holiday despite the very strong winds on the island. We didn’t use the beaches for a long time like in other beach holidays but we travelled and seen almost everything in the whole island. Breakfast was a bit too boring for us and ended up eating mostly fruits which were in abundance and we bought dips and snacks from Aldi and Lidl not far from Yaiza. Overall we enjoyed the stay."
