The Omalos plateau is a true cure for sore eyes between the end of winter and early summer, when it is constantly covered in millions of wild flowers which look like somebody spread a brightly coloured carpet over the plateau. It is a nature protected area. A great number of people attempt to go to Balos during summer. Try to go by car early in the morning to find ticket ( 1 euro per person) or it is highly suggested to go for a daily cruise from Agia Marina or Kissamos to Balos and Gramvousa #LifeAtExpedia #balos #Gramvousa
