"We visited Balito with a family of 7 and had the most wonderful stay. The hotel is small but updated and it is run by a wonderful family who makes you feel at home. The pool area is lovely and the breakfast and coffee is perfect in the morning. The rooms were good for our large family (we had two rooms with 3 beds each) and the area is very walkable. It’s about a 14 min walk to the beach (with my slower children) and a 10 min taxi into Chania. There is also a bus to take you to town and some of the other beaches that stops nearby but we didn’t do it because of elders in our group. There is a taverna around the corner that was amazing. Overall I highly recommend this hotel and will be back again if we return to Crete. "

"A perfectly delightful place to stay. The owners went above and beyond to welcome us! The apartment was thoroughly stocked with everything one might need. It is beautifully decorated, has a luxurious hot tub, lovely view, comfortable beds, quiet and has the most helpful and friendly hosts. Communications were prompt and full of helpful information. Location and parking were a big plus. We would highly recommend this to a couple or a family. If we go back to Crete, we will definitely stay here!"

"Beautiful villa, far beyond our expectations. Very spacious, stylish and had everything we needed for our family (2 adults and 2 young children). The pool was perfect, stunning views and everywhere is very clean. The hosts were beyond accommodating. They brought us fresh, home grown produce whenever we wanted, gave us amazing recommendations for food and even took us on a boat trip. The villa is very private and quiet, but an easy drive to plenty of traditional tavernas, stunning beaches and very close to Chania (you do need a car). Villa was cleaned and sheets/towels replenished during our stay. Hosts responded very quickly to any questions. I have recommended the place to all our friends and family. "

"This was my 7th trip to Greece, by far the best house I’ve rented so far! My family if 14 stayed here, plenty of room for everyone. The house was spacious, clean, and was in a great location, close to amazing beaches and restaurants. It was perfect for my family. Would definitely recommend! "
