Nice stay

Nice stay. I've been in many all inclusive hotels ad I reckon that there is room for improvement on the food. The food wasn't bad at all, but in other all inclusive hotels I have found it much better, even in the area of Crete.

Generaly, it is a good place to stay. The only problem we found some ants inside the room and we saw one ant in the bed. We reported it to the management, they just sent someone to do further cleaning. I know the hot weather is a good environment for ants but it should not be inside the rooms. They need to treat ants properly to keep them outside the rooms.

I had torn my achilles tendon just before my stay here so accessibility was an issue to some degree. No rooms had ramps or had ground floor accessibility. Other than that, the staff were great, breakfast was fantastic. Lunch was meh, dinner was really nice at the stone restaurant. My family had rented a car so we were a short 20 min drive into old town Chania which was gorgeous.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt im Caldera Beach. Der Strand direkt vor dem Hotel war einfach super – nur wenige Schritte entfernt. Wir haben es sehr genossen, morgens und abends dort spazieren zu gehen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und empfehlen das Hotel wĂ€rmstens weiter.

Abbiamo prenotato uno studio con cucina a Caldera Beach, ma al check-in ci hanno assegnato una camera economy nell'albergo adiacente, a Caldera Creta Paradise. Il giorno dopo abbiamo fatto presente alla reception che quella non era la camera che avevamo prenotato e pagato. La reception ci ha risposto che gli hotel fanno parte dello stesso gruppo e che avendo preso l'all-inclusive hanno ritenuto in autonomia di non riservarci lo studio perchĂ© dotato di cucina e quindi non necessaria con l'all-inclusive. Abbiamo quindi iniziato ogni giorno a chiedere che ci venisse assegnata la camera prenotata a Caldera Beach, ma non abbiamo mai avuto alcuna risposta e non abbiamo mai cambiato stanza. La camera assegnata, oltre ad avere un arredo datato, era in disuso da diverso tempo. Oltre a formiche e capelli presenti nel letto e in doccia, la pulizia in generale non era sufficiente. I vetri del balcone erano totalmente sporchi, gli asciugamani non sempre puliti e il materasso poco confortevole. Camera a parte, l'hotel era comunque un buon hotel a 4 stelle. Abbiamo apprezzato la vicinanza al mare, dal quale si accedeva direttamente dalla piscina dell'hotel. La qualitĂ  e il servizio di ristorazione erano piĂč che buoni. Vengono forniti asciugamani per la piscina, che perĂČ possono essere cambiati ogni 3 giorni. Struttura molto vicina a Platanias, ben collegata con mezzi pubblici. Parcheggi intorno all'hotel sempre disponibili e gratuiti.

TrÚs beau séjour à Caldera beach

Bel hĂŽtel proche de Chania (environ 20 min) avec beaucoup d’équipements pour les enfants. Bon petit dĂ©jeuner variĂ©. le water Park est neuf mais petit on a vite fait le tour donc le tarif est un peu excessif. La plage n’est pas top je vous recommande visiter les plages de Balos Beach, Elafonissi, seitan

Attention a l’éloignement de certaines chambres

Le complexe est agrĂ©able, avec une belle offre de restauration, une grande piscine bien entretenue, et une animation du soir pour les enfants (mini disco dans l’autre hĂŽtel du groupe) qui a Ă©tĂ© trĂšs apprĂ©ciĂ©e. Il est toutefois important de noter que certaines chambres sont situĂ©es Ă  l’écart, de l’autre cĂŽtĂ© d’une route, Ă  environ 500 mĂštres des installations principales (restaurants, piscines, plage). Cette information n’apparaĂźt pas clairement lors de la rĂ©servation, ce qui peut surprendre, en particulier pour les familles avec enfants. DĂšs notre arrivĂ©e, nous avons souhaitĂ© changer de chambre en raison de cette distance, mais notre demande est restĂ©e sans rĂ©ponse malgrĂ© plusieurs relances. La rĂ©ception sur place ne gĂšre pas directement ce type de demande, qui est transmise Ă  un service central difficile Ă  joindre. Le Wi-Fi est Ă©galement trĂšs limitĂ© dans cette zone du club : la connexion est instable et ne permet pas un vĂ©ritable accĂšs Ă  Internet. Par ailleurs, en pĂ©riode de forte affluence, il est difficile de trouver un transat disponible aprĂšs 8h du matin. En rĂ©sumĂ©, il s’agit d’un bel Ă©tablissement, offrant de bonnes prestations, mais il est recommandĂ© de bien se renseigner Ă  l’avance sur l’emplacement des chambres, surtout si la proximitĂ© avec les installations principales est un critĂšre important pour vous.

Utmerket opphold

Veldig bra opphold. Et paradis for barn og barnefamilier. De har absolutt alt du trenger for Ä trives. Padel bane, basketbane, bordtennisbord, volleyballbane osv. for barn har de nettopp Äpnet en vannpark med mange ulike vannsklier tilpasset bÄde smÄ og store barn. I tillegg har de arkade(spillerom), kids club osv. hoteller var utrolig vakkert og veldig rent. Du kan selvfÞlgelig finne noen smÄ maur pÄ gulvet pÄ badet osv, men hva kan man forvente pÄ et sÄ varmt sted, nÄr man ligger og bader over alt. All inclusive var gull med mat tilgjengelig dÞgnet rundt, samt ubegrenset drikke (Þl,vin, brus og til og med cocktail). Maten pÄ all inclusive var greit, kanskje ikke det aller beste kjÞttet, litt tÞrt noen ganger, men man kan kanskje ikke forvente noe annet. Utvalget av mat og tilbehÞr var derimot utmerket.

Miinusta: kuntosali oli vÀhÀn siivoton, laitteita ei ollut huollettu. Viereisen sisarhotellin kuntosali oli pienempi, mutta siistimpi. Yleiset suihkutilat myöhÀiselle paluulennolle lÀhtijöille olivat myös vÀhÀn siivottomat, vesi lillui jne. EivÀt vastanneet hotellin muutoin hyvÀÀ tasoa.

Tutto stupendo ! Posizione ideale , a due passi dal centro di agia Marina allo stesso tempo lontano dal caos , puliti e colazione ottima ! Es war alles in Ordnung. Uns hat es gefallen. Die Einrichtung war allerdings schon etwas Ă€lter. Ein wenig unglĂŒcklich war nur der Zugang zu unserem Apartment, das zwar im Erdgeschoss lag, aber durch den Architekten so gebaut war, dass man trotzdem noch ein paar Stufen hoch und runtersteigen musste um ins Zimmer zu gelangen. Mit Kinderwagen war das leider nervig. Preis-Leistung war ok fĂŒr “nur FrĂŒhstĂŒck”.

Ikke verdt pengene - styr unna

Hotellet er slitent og rommene likner ikke pÄ bildene som er annonserte. BassengomrÄdet er overfylt og for lite for antall rom og gjester. Til tider var det umulig Ä svÞmme mer enn et par meter uten Ä treffe noen. Bassengkantene er skadet flere steder uten at reparasjoner er utfÞrt. Service er elendig og da vi hadde utfordringer med maur pÄ rommet tok det 48 timer og fire purringer fÞr det ble vasket skikkelig. Rommet var i tillegg mindre enn forventet, og temmelig lytt. Alt i alt et sted som ikke var verdt pengene og heller ikke stjernene.
