"We rented both cabanas for our family of 6 adults over the Christmas holidays. What a wonderful paradise to share together. The setting in our opinion is the best all along Placencia peninsula, private and yet still convenient to other resorts, restaurants, shops, etc. The dock and the covered seating area far out over the water was by far the crown jewel of the property. "Property was beautifully designed and new. The staff were amazing and very accommodating. The spa was incredible - 5 stars. Food was very good and nice variety on the menu with daily specials. The only thing we did not like was the pool area is small (only 8 loungers) and right beside the restaurant & open air kitchen which can be loud if you are trying to relax. Also, not much of a beach area to speak of."

"Everything was wonderful except the Beach in front of the property... We contacted the resort ahead and asked about the sargassum seaweed condition on the beach and we did not receive an answer.. so we were already expecting there to be some sargassum seaweed... What we weren't expecting is the garbage washed up on the beach with the sargassum... The beach was very tiny and I'm assuming could have been easily cleaned in a few hours.... It wasn't clean when we got there and the same garbage and seaweed was there when we left two days later.. it was not smelly as sargassum some times can be, it was just unsightly and we didn't want to go anywhere near the water.... The beach would have been lovely and amazing if it were cleaned.... Other than that every other experience we had at this property was top notch... The staff, the rooms, everything other than the beach condition was very very good."

"Evan was at the Placencia airport waiting for us when we arrived. He took the time to drive us down the main street in Placencia before dropping us off at the sidewalk where another staff member was to take our luggage and walk us to the hotel. Everyone was so kind. The room was very clean and the view was spectacular. Right on the beach. The hotel is very conveniently located near many restaurants, coffee shops, and shops. The hotel also pays for a pool pass at the Placencia Beach Club during the time that the sargassum is heavy on the beach. Someone cleans up the seaweed regularly though. Sitting on the balcony, drinking coffee (also provided by the hotel) in the mornings was picture perfect. We were only at the hotel for breakfast to be served once. They had eggs and waffles, along with fruit, coffee, juice, cereal (I may be forgetting something). Breakfast was brought to our room the evening before for the next day when we had tours planned that left before breakfast time. Our stay was so perfect! I highly recommend and hope I can go back soon!!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home. We traveled with our two children ages 6 and 9 and they loved the pool and the beach. The pool was shaded which was wonderful as we didn't have to worry about sunscreen while they were in the pool. The location is great and close to the restaurants and markets. The home was well equipped with everything we needed. We ate out half the time and cooked food the other half. We used the charcoal grill and the charcoal can be purchased at the grocery store in Plascencia. We did a snorkel tour with Leo's company and it was the highlight of the trip. The islands that we visited were breathtaking, turquoise water and white powder beaches. We saw eagle rays, nurse sharks, and lots of colourful fish. We also did the waterfall at Maya King which was amazing. We highly recommend this home!"

"This property is beautiful and the staff was excellent with communication and assistance. The morning breakfast was delicious. We weren’t able to enjoy the beach due to the sargassum but it was fine we were able to enjoy the pool. The rooms are beautiful and clean. Definitely a great stay for relaxing. "
