"We got booked in room 227. The room had a weird smell that hit you as soon as you walked in. We saw ants near the sink, shampoo was not refilled both days, I saw roaches in the outside of the building (thank goodness not inside). Parking was a challenge, both nights we stayed there was someone occupying our parking space (in front of our door). They have a note in one of the tables stating that if we find any broken things or anything malfunctioning to notify immediately and to make sure we lock our doors and don’t answer the door unless we are completely sure of who it is. I let them know right away that the latch from the door leading to the balcony was completely missing, there was no way to secure the door. High winds could have easily opened the door, that’s how unsecured it was. The guy that responded to my call acted surprised to hear about the door and told me it would get fixed the next day. The next day when we returned from our adventures in the afternoon I went to front desk and asked about the door and the lady at front desk said it was going to take a while to get fixed and didn’t seem to care much about the issue. It was evident that the door has been with a broken doorknob for a while. Almost looked like if part of the doorknob had been removed to replace another one. Hopefully door gets fixed soon."
