"The property was under renovation so the spa wasn’t available and there was construction ongoing. The staff at the front desk, restaurant and pool/beach were friendly and helpful. Hemingway restaurant is a great spot for all meals. The bikes were a bit disappointing; older and not in great shape but we took them to town as they were rideable. Overall we had a great time."

"We arrived 10/09–probably peak of hurricane avoidance. We were assigned a penthouse suite, with a huge walk-in closet, and a bath with the most incredible tile work we have ever seen—the most beautiful suite we’ve ever stayed in. The grounds are exquisite—I have never seen better grown ornamental beds. Complimentary breakfasts served 7:00-10:30, and maintained all throughout this time—and can substitute for an afternoon meal."
