"For an old hotel it was fine. The hotel rooms need to be updated then it would be more attractive. They need to change the mattresses they are too hard not comfortable. They also need to do hot breakfasts for the customers as well. Overall, I would give it a 3.5 out of a 5."
"A couple light switches did not work and the door would not close completely but generally, it’s a nice facility. It would be better if the river was more visible and if there were umbrellas on the deck to provide shade. In the afternoon, the windows must be covered because the room will become an oven otherwise."
The Loft at Golden Meadows Farm - Ideally located between Durango and Pagosa
10/10 Excellent
"The loft was perfect. It is a peaceful and beautiful place to relax. The loft was clean and had everything we needed for our week long stay. The host responded quickly to our questions."
"Al lol the staff were very helpful. There was a couple of things that needed some repair like the front entrance, but overall it was an excellent place."
"The Springs Resort in Pagosa Springs, Colorado was an incredible experience from start to finish. The rooms in the new building were absolutely amazing — modern, comfortable, and the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the area.
The spa was one of the highlights of the trip. Erin was hands down the best massage therapist I’ve ever had. Her deep tissue massage is truly a gift — she has an incredible ability to find and work out tension while still making the experience relaxing and enjoyable.
The hot spring pools were fantastic and the perfect way to unwind. The entire resort has such a peaceful atmosphere that makes it easy to slow down and enjoy the moment.
The dining options at the resort were excellent, and the restaurants in town were also outstanding. Everything from the service to the food exceeded expectations.
Five stars, easily. We had an amazing stay and would absolutely recommend The Springs Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing, memorable Colorado getaway.

Heiden’s Hideaway. Private Community. 30 Min to Durango/Vallecito
10/10 Excellent
"Cabin was exactly what my husband and I wanted for our honeymoon. The hosts were prompt and thorough in their communication. I recommend this cabin for anyone looking to stay in a cozy, secluded mountain top getaway close to plenty of hiking trails, cute downtowns (Durango, Pagosa Springs), and fishing opportunities."
"Ruff gravel road to reach the property but worth it. We stayed in the basement suite that was super big. The lighting was a bit dim at night and a few cobwebs that were missed when cleaning other than that the breakfast was amazing and plentiful. The views are amazing and the owners are very friendly and helpful. This is a stay we will always remember definitely worth a stay"
