What a wonderful hotel. Spotlessly clean, staff can’t do enough to make your stay perfect. Breakfast more centred to Aisian tastes but good egg/omelette station. Very serene ambience to the hotel. My only criticism is the distance from Patong town, although they have a free shuttle 3 times a day. You can get a tut tut back for 200 thb if you barter.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed the breakfast every morning. Lots of variety. We went in to Patong Beach every evening for food and it was so lovely coming back to the peace and quiet Marina Gallery.

Good for family

The family room is so spacious.. we enjoyed our stay.. pool is very clean and we really enjoyed it, location and surrounding area is very closed to nature.Hotel in Patong area but away from the busy and crowded area.

Brilliant hotel. Great, friendly, helpful staff. Lovely style and feel to the place. We had a family room which was spacious and had great facilities. Pool area is lovely. The only drawback is it’s located at the top of a steep hill, so you are going to need transportation to get anywhere. But that’s obviously not the end of the world. The hotel themselves run a shuttle 3 times a day and bolt is cheap and easy. Would highly recommend and I would definitely stay here, or one of their sister hotels, again in the future.

A nice place to stay for just one night. Property in need of painting maintenence and a thorough cleaning. Lovely character being a colonial building. A great breakfast with everything you could ask for. August very quiet as we were the only people at dinner. A bit closer to the airport than patong beach. Nice staff

Great hotel, amazing pool with views

This hotel was even better in person. Amazing pools (they have two! All around the hotel and one of them has an amazing view of Kalim Bay and the Patong bay). I highly suggest to get a pool access room - it’s really great. The rooms were as in the pictures, the bed very big and comfortable and the room service SUPER quick. The breakfast and restaurant also very good, pretty high level. The hotel is 5 minutes in a car from the centre of Patong, but away from the noise and really quiet / romantic. All in all, I’d definitely come back - we loved it :))

The best hotel we have stayed at and we have travdlled a fair bit. The staff are a credit to this hotel, they couldnt have been more helpful throughout our stay. We were sad to leave them. The family room we stayed in, was immaculate and a great size for our family of 4. It had everything we needed, from toiletries, to a well priced mini bar and flip flops and robes. Clean towels were provided daily along with pool / beach towels. The pool was lovely too and even though there only a few sun loungers, we did not struggle to get one each day. The pool has great views. Staff helped with arranging daily transport to the beaches, shopping and restaurant areas, which was cheap. Either a grab or tuk tuk. I would definately return to this hotel and honestly cannot thank the staff enough for a great experience.

Not a five star property

This is not a 5 star product, and it’s a pity that it is allowed to be marketed on Hotels.com as such. The pool is very nice and only few people occupy the pool area - really nice ( however one picture suggests a non existing pool bar). The hotel rooms are on the large size, reasonably comfortable and they are airy an have a nice view over the bay. Breakfast service is understaffed, food is not re-supplied in a reasonable pace, some of the hotel guests eat like this was their last meal, and the also bring food from the buffet. Front desk are unable to swipe a credit card for securing restaurant, mini bar etc / you are forced to pay a cash deposit of THB 3000 or deposit your pass port. There is no conseriege, nor piccolo service upon arrival. Some of the public areas are not properly cleaned (windows in hallways, dirty staircase, lots of old dead insects etc). House keeping seems to not having space to store dirty laundry, extra beds etc, these are stored in the hallways temporarily and/or permanently.

We had a deluxe room with pool access, the room was spacecious and nice and clean. The room does not get too hot. The bed is too hard for our taste, but they can adjust this a little bit. For a five star hotel we expect a more personal treatment. We never had such a bad experience as in service and hospitality. We arrived too early to check in. So we waited for more than 2 hours. Unfortunately my husband was very sick and throwing up, hè needed to lie down. Because there was no room available before the official check in time, he had to lie down in the garden at the sofa. No one offered us even a glass of water when we arrived. The staff seemed not prepared for a group of early arrivals, even with our heavy big suitcases and someone who is sick there was no one at the door outside greeting is/helping us with lifting the luggage over the stairs inside. I had to go inside and ask myself if someone could come help us. When we went to the room at 14:00, they were still cleaning it for a few minutes. But when we checked out a few minutes later they called immediately to our room. Also we wanted to extend our stay for 1/2 days, at Expedia, Booking and the website of the hotel it said it was sold out. When we booked it was beginning of january and price per night was around 83 euro’s (without tax). At the reception the room was not sold out out, one time the reception said it was around 160 euro’s per night and one time around 180 eurO. We left and are never going back!

Overall this property is for someone looking for a place to sleep only this property is not a 5 star facility at all. There were bugs in our room, the shower had a smell and the pool was not very clean either. Good place to sleep if your on a budget but nothing more then that.

Sunloungers limited in number and some damaged. Looked like they had not been cleaned for a number of years. The restaurant had limited opening times in operation during our stay and coffee machine not operational at breakfast time. Staff were friendly, helpful and 3fficient and the communal areas were well maintained, the only exception being the aforementioned pool area.
