Shit 1 x nite stay - only good 4 location

Unable to sleep due too loud noise levels at 2am - too many rowdy tourist In addition, terrible customer service - staff spent b more time looking at u rudely when u ask 4 assistance..as if ur wasting their time/money & not ur own - not helpful at all especially wen ur hot & tired 😫 To top it off, power outage caused air cons to stop working... luckily it stopped the rowdy crowd playing loud music but once again, useless customer service One night of issues is enough to turn me off & check out. Hopefully The Gig Hotel is beta. This place is only good 4 rowdy tight ass ppl who can sleep thru it all

Avoid this hotel

Do not believe the photos. This is an old, run down establishment which is highly overpriced. I had paid for four nights in advance, but after seeing the small room I decided to leave. Instead of a refund I was offered another room, but having smelled the towels I found it better to just get out of there. You can find much better accommodation for similar price nearby. The neighborhood was not so nice either, but near shopping and entertainment.

The hotel is conveniently situated. Close enough to the beach and Jungceylon shopping centre. The nightly market is across the road, good for foodies.

Das RCB Hotel ist absolut nicht mehr das, was es war! Heruntergekommen und schmudelig! Der Pool wurde seit Monaten nicht mehr geoutzt, etc.

Central location but that's about it!

This is where I wish I had done what you are doing now - reading reviews! Apart from the location (which was very central - and noisy), I cannot think of anything else to recommend this hotel. I have stayed in many hotels in Thailand over the years but this was the first time I left early and found a different hotel. Staff were sullen and not very helpful, room was very average and not remotely 'superior' as claimed, main lift was broken which meant going up one flight of stairs, along a corridor of rooms to another single lift servicing the whole hotel, TV didn't work and the safe was broken (to be fair they did fix those last two things though, although the tv was so small and the channels so limited it wasn't worth turning on anyway). The swimming pool was nice however, although the bar attendant didn't even bother to acknowledge my presence as he was so engrossed in watching a film on his phone! So all in all, a very poor experience and certainly one I shan't repeat. If you have a choice, don't stay here!

部屋は清潔感があり良かったが洗面台の水回りが悪く、設備としては良くなかった。 洗面台の水漏れは毎日部屋を点検していればわかるはずなのに、現状維持で改善しようとしないのは問題だと思う。

Totally different from what as advertised,

Old and run down hotel that photos look so much different then actual hotel. No Bathtub as advertise, no toiletries, only provide 1 badly tampered room access card & refuse to give extra card & told us that if one of us come back early they could open the door for us. Been place in level 2 room which the balcony door is spoil and the staff refuse to change the room, chairs is so shakily that might break anytime which is not safe to sit on, Having a small TV which could not even access to any channel, water heater not working at times, show us the bottle water while check in and say 1st two bottle is free but upon checking out charge us despite verifying that 1st two bottle is free they say yes but insist to charge us. While waiting for our transport to come, we saw a drink menu banner and wish to order the mocha and they told us they don't sell those drink on the banner then why not remove it?, Afraid that we lose the room access card and place it in the room so when we are back the aircon is still cooling but upon returning the card gone missing and they charge me at 500 bahts for another old tampered card, the lobby is open for public or the local to laze around so guest have to be left standing outside entrance or sit outside the cafe tables and guess what when you check out, they will charge you 150 bahts per person who sit there claiming it for breakfast. Book and stay at your own risk for they are out to extort tourists.
