"I had a wedding to go to with transport provided to the wedding venue from Hahndorf. I chose this motel as it was central to everything I needed and a reasonable price. It's a lovely place to stay. The location was excellent and it was very quiet given it was virtually in the middle of Hahndorf. However I was disappointed that the room was on the small side and that there wasn't a chair to sit on to drink my cups of tea. I had to sit on the bed which unless I was lying down didn't offer any back support. A full length mirror would have been nice as I was dressing for the wedding, and couldn't see below my waist in the mirror that was on the wall. (it was a beautiful mirror though!). Overall I would say yes it is a good place to stay and I would stay there again."

"Ideal for a stay in the Adelaide hills and still close to the city. We stayed in a heritage room that had been very tastefully updated, great bed, bathroom is huge with full size bath & heated floor, a nice balcony. Guest breakfast room always had coffee and condiments. In all a very nice stay, we’ll be back."

"Breakfast was excellent all round. Staff were great, more than ample choice of cereal, juices and hot food. Toaster was a bit slow! Only disappointment of whole stay was the evening meal menu - could not buy a steak or a schnitzel! Limited choice - we didn't go back the second night. Up market fine dining not really our cup of tea! Some more basic options would have been better."
