Apex City Quay Hotel & Spa

Apex City Quay Hotel & Spa

10/10 Excellent
"We booked this hotel for the spa and pool which was great, although the steam room was not working, which was disappointing, but the sauna was working, although it was in a bit of demand as a result. The pool and changing facilities were fantastic. Breakfast was great, with hot food ordered from a menu rather than a hot buffet, but staff were very attentive and the food was great. Continental breakfast also there to choose from. Good location, especially for the bus station. Train station a short walk also. We didn't get a chance to sample the dinner or drinks but it was a great open space for the bar and a good open communal space for relaxing. We will be glad to stay again in future. Thank you!"

"We stayed for one night to break a journey, very friendly staff food in bar very good. Rooms very dated and furniture old but it was acceptable, very quite location good nights sleep. Windows in the bed room opened lovely and wide so loads of fresh air on a hot night. Wonderful view of the Wallace monument. Did not have breakfast as early start.Loads of parking on site and not charged if you entered your reg at reception."
