Our whole family loved our stay here. The food and restaurant were charming. The surrounding country was beautiful and peaceful. The accommodations were very comfortable and clean. Would definitely stay here again.

The staff were excellent, the food was particularly good. The property is a house rather than a castle. It is ramshackle and in need of a cash injection in building maintenance, furniture and decor. In our room the worn out carpet was covering some holes in the floor, Curtains were hanging off the hooks, pillows and bed coverings were odd and I'll fitting.

Quite out of the way but the restaurant was really good. Our room needed some TLC, paint appeared overdue for a refresh (mostly in washroom that seemed to be painted halfway but not complete). Bed comfortable.
