"Easy parking, excellent Reception staff. Room clean and comfortable. Christmas decorations in the bar/dining areas were beautiful and tastefully done. "It took us two trips around the one-way system to find the place. The name of the place had changed to the Victoria Inn and was under new management. We had not received any notification of this. The pub downstairs looked absolutely fine, but we didn’t use it. We were taken upstairs to our room and it was obvious the place was being renovated as there were paint pots and dust sheets and decorating equipment in a corner in the hallway and wet paint signs everywhere. Our room was quite small. We couldn’t open the window. However, I did have a good night sleep and the shower was hot. "
