"It’s a lovely property in old town towards the palace. Breakfast was lovely. The coffee tasted great. The bed linens are high-quality and soft. There’s actually a blanket on the bed and a coverlet. Nestled among the tall trees on the edge of a ravine. I had a massage and a facial the attendant was wonderful. It’s a wonderful place to stay."

"I felt safe as a solo female traveler in 18C. The street is quite dark so be mindful after dark if that worries you. Sintra is a sleepy town after the tourists leave. The apartment was very clean and accurate to the listing. There was mold in the bathroom but this was mentioned in the reviews prior to booking and it did not bother me much for two days. It is a basement apartment but there is a lovely view from the living area. Check in was smooth and the communication was perfect. Also the location was incredible. Just a minute walk to the restaurants and 5-10 minutes to the castle trails and entrances."

"The facility is very close to everything that I wanted. I was able to comfortably walk to Pena palace, Moorish Castle, Quinta, and finally to the train station when it was sadly time for me to leave. The coffee shops do not open very early in Sintra, so I very much appreciated that they have a coffee machine in the lobby. The room is small, but it was exactly what I needed as a solo traveler."

"We planned to stay one night but loved it so much we extended our stay. The room we had was well decorated and very large. It was very clean and quiet. The owners were great providing info on what to see and where to eat. Breakfast was very good and again the room for breakfast was lovely. Highly recommend"

"Cute place parking opposite but very busy. Comfy bed but bathroom although clean was smelly. Great couple of restaurants to choose from. Don’t know where they get 20 mins walk to the palace etc. more like 1.30 HOURS and mostly uphill and very steep. We walked for 30 mins , gave in and took a tuk tuk ride , cost 20 euros, and took at least 12 minutes still to top, some way to walk when dropped off. Not the most ideal place to stay for doing sintra as very misleading information about being able to walk to most of the sites of interest but enjoyed the stay."
