Country House in Penang

Our stay at the Qing Suites was so wonderful, we could not have asked for a better experience. The history of the building, as well as the Blue Mansion, is fascinating, and adds to the magic of the place. The room was superb - clean and comfortable, with a lovely private courtyard. The main courtyard, where a delicious breakfast was served, is stunning. The staff deserve a special mention - attentive, kind, and always cheerful, and made our stay extra special.

What a phenomenal place to stay , I stay in hotels all over the world and Campbell House is my favorite , the rooms the staff the food are of a standard that many hotels could only dream of . . . I'll definitely be returning !

Amazing stay, hotel staff were friendly and helpful the food at the hotel itself is incredible, highly recommend eating at the restaurant there for dinner atleast once. The facilities are great the pool, gym, and rooftop garden are all world class. The rooms are big and spacious.

Very happy we stayed here. Very close to lots of places to visit. Room is exquisite, very clean. Has a vintage feel but modern at the same time.

The property is well-situated and comfortable. My only criticism concerns the noise from music at neighbouring entertainment venues at night.

Li and Chan, the owner/managers are extremely helpful and cheerful hosts. Made me feel at home right from the word go. The room was neat and very clean. Everything worked. Location is a bit of a hike from jetty but in a good area nonetheless. Hire a scooter and explore the island with Batu Ferringi as your base. Excellent stay at Rasa motel. Will stay Herr again when I come back to Penang.

The room was spotless and well appointed. There is a local hawker centre about 400 meters away which we walked to for dinner. The bus stops were very handy and only 2MR to George Town. Zeus coffee was 5 mins across the road which my coffee enthusiastic enjoyed for price and quality.

The ambiance of the Blue Mansion is marvellous. Stillness in the courtyards, gentle breezes and tinkling Chinese musical instruments in the background made this venue very comfortable. The staff are in tune with the mood and are discreet yet always ready to help make the stay memorable. The climate in Penang can be very hot and humid; the bedrooms are air-conditioned and have ceiling fans - very comfortable for sleeping. The staff were outstanding. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. They even got soy milk in for our breakfast each morning. The hotel was interesting and authentic.

Had a very relaxed and comfortable stay in our room and the hotel's many fascinating public lounge areas etc. Service was great and location is perfect if you're interested in the Heritage District. Can confidently recommend as different and high standard.
