"I had to change rooms because the bathroom light in the first room was broken. The second room was absolutely disgusting. There was food smeared on the walls, suspicious stains on the bedding, items left behind from the person before me so I know they didn’t clean. There was a dead bug on the sink. The fridge was disgusting and had food residue in it and so did the microwave which was also emitting a horrible stench. The whole entire hotel is humid and musty and smells awful. I left within an hour of getting my room, as soon as I was able to book a different hotel. And after all this, I was refused a refund even though “fully refundable” was stated on the booking beforehand. So I paid for two nights for a room I wasn’t even in for an hour. The manager was unhelpful and rude and so was the other person at the front desk."

"The home is in an older neighborhood, the neighborhood is quiet. The location of the home isn't far from the downtown shops; walking distance. The host responds quickly I came across a few things during my stay in the home that could have been brought up to my attention but I'm giving the host the benifit of doubt that he isn't aware of repairs. The remodeling of the home is nice, updated and modern. The dishwasher was down, the refrigerator didn't dispense ice or water. Honestly I feel vrbo should refund or have the host refund a partial amount for unexpected rental conditions not made aware of."

"Engaging in responsive host; great location and floor plan. Hot tub was a hit. Walls had recently been painted but not the trim that had mildew which made the house appeared to be “dirty“. It was not dirty, but clean. The property needed the paint job to be finished when we stayed there in 11/25. "
