"It’s few miles from the airport but they provide a free shuttle which takes a few minute to get to the airport. For the price and convenience it’s a solid choice for transit or for connecting flights."

"Avoid avoid avoid !!! The staff are not to be trusted. Having had 5 emails from the hotel, and having replied 5 times, and despite 6 attempts to phone them on the number they provided, they stranded us at the airport. It turns out they don’t monitor their emails or even answer the number provided. Instead of trying to resolve the matter they tried to make it our fault, and when that didn’t work, they blamed Hotels.com !! Zero attempt to apologise or accept responsibility despite the emails being from them and the phone number being provided by them. The desk staff just stood there and lied and lied. One doesn’t need deceitful hotel staff when travelling, one needs staff one can trust and rely on. So best advice from me - Avoid avoid avoid !!!!"

"This is by far the best value-for-money hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff is very professional, kind, helpful and knowledgeable. The location is perhaps one of the best in Santiago. It is located in a quiet and safe street, surrounded by restaurants and stores. If you ever stayed at The Chandler Hotel in NYC, the Capital Bellet Hotel exceeds it in value by miles. I will definitely stay here again the next time I am in Santiago."

"I don't think the air conditioner worked in my room - although it obviously had one. It was hot and I couldn't get the room any cooler. Windows didn't open as in other Chilean hotels I stayed at. Other than that, this was a nice hotel and convenient for the airport. The free shuttle runs 24 hours, you just have to let them know what time you need. The restaurant was convenient but just regular bar/grill type food. This is a standard convenient-for-the-airport type of hotel. Everyone was friendly and courteous and they allowed me early check in. I chose a Chilean chain rather than an American chain, which there were plenty of on the same block - but I couldn't help wondering if they would have been better (i.e. cooler) or if the lack of adequate air conditioning thing is just typical for the area. "
