Really great apartment, well equipped plenty of room. ( Note to owner not for publishing, the connection to the ubend under kitchen sink came off, lots of water on the floor which we cleared,we put back the fitting, I would check it's on properly, mop needed

The apartments was very comfortable and I was surprised they listed it as “cozy” when it was a fairly large apartment. The area felt very safe. The only issue with the apartment is the noise at night with young gentleman talking and playing music on the corner. Also you could hear a lot of noise in the morning when the market below opened. Great location to explore Montmarte and two different metro lines nearby so easy access to all of Paris.

Check in was a challenge because it was a self check in and the unit number was not obvious. The apartment was clean, comfortable and spacious. It was described as cozy. But I found it spacious for Europe. A lot of street noise Sunday night. Many young men are on the street corner playing loud music. The store below creates a lot of noise when it opens in the morning.

THE WORST RENTAL - in fact I don’t know how this place has any decent reviews. The unit is on the 3rd floor- not the second as stated. There was ZERO hot water (not even warm in the least bit). Imagine being out in Paris on a freezing cold rainy day and you can’t even come back to take a warm shower. I tried to leave the water running to get it up to temp and tried at different hours of the day to no avail. The WiFi wouldn’t connect despite multiple attempts and the the TV wouldn’t work. So no cable, no WiFi, no hot water .The sink in the bathroom wouldn’t drain so imagine if you run the water for a split second the sink is a dirty grimy mess which is disgusting . If you want to brush your teeth you have to use the kitchen sink. The bed was terrible (think the cheapest mattress you could buy). Just awful. The noise below with the drunk men on the stoop who block the door to your rental all night is beyond distracting. It’s impossible to sleep. Oh and on top of it- the bottom lock failed and we got locked IN . YES LOCKED IN. Couldn’t leave. Imagine if there was an emergency or flight to catch we would have been out of luck. This place was so bad we checked out immediately the next morning. Beyond unacceptable oh and there is zero communication with anyone. You rent through VRBO who then goes through another company and then another company called checkmyguest . No way to get anyone to be held accountable. BEWARE! Worst experience I have ever had renting!

Nice but some things worth mentioning

A nicely decorated apartment minutes away from the Basilica which was great. We watched the sunset the first night with a bunch of people up on the hill right below the Basilica and it was stunning. Very convenient that the market is just below and there is an excellent coffee shop right down the street called Inform Cafe. Even better, but slightly further away, is the Leonie Bakery. It is a must! The apartment is a close walk to the nicer part of Montmartre but the actual street that the apartment is located on is just okay. We stayed in Montmartre some years ago on a much quainter street and I would say I definitely preferred that but to each their own. A couple of items worth mentioning: We stayed here for 3 nights in the middle of June. When we entered the unit it was a very hot day and it was sweltering inside. They only had one fan. I reached out for an additional fan and they did deliver it very quickly but even with the two fans and no AC, it was quite uncomfortable. This is my bad, however, as I didn't even think to check for AC. So I would say definitely a more ideal apartment in the cooler months. Also, the shower area looks a little more spacious in the pictures than in reality. And finally, every night there was a group of men drinking (getting drunk) and talking quite loudly right downstairs and across the street. They seemed harmless but as we were traveling with a 9 and 12 year old, it was not ideal.
