The Nest Hotel Palo Alto

8/10 Good
"The motel is an older motel from”YEARS” ago. The renovation is nice and just okay. The rooms a very dark and blandly decorated. The air conditioning works well. That’s a plus. The rest however is “so so”. Pictures online resemble the real thing but are misleading. It’s not a resort type motel. Emphasize “MOTEL”. It wasn’t horrible but not what they show online and no pool. Pet friendly, “kinda”. They weren’t pleased to see my service dog. We had to change rooms three times due to maintenance issues. Complementary Breakfast was “just okay”. Nothing to get excited about We will not recommend this “Motel”especially if you’re accustomed to Marriott brand or Hilton type hotels. We are very disappointed because reviews were misleading as well. Maybe they wrote their own reviews. Maybe 2-3 stars. They should be better for the prices they charge."

Leland Hotel Palo Alto

Leland Hotel Palo Alto

10/10 Excellent
"This extremely clean hotel has everything you need at a reasonable price. The bed was comfortable, I enjoyed the big screen tv, and I liked that it was easy to get picked up and dropped off by Ubers in the easily accessible car park. The air conditioner can be set to stay on all night by turning off the ‘eco’ function which is great. The check in area was stocked with water, coffee pods, instant oats, and chocolate. The room came with two bottles of water, coffee, and granola bars. I loved the convencime of the in room fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. All the conveniences in a nice location with restaurants in walking distance. The only limitation is that there is not a lot of space to hang up clothes, but there are some hooks near the door and a chair in the room. Highly recommend!"

"The staff was very friendly and helpful. They made my stay very comfortable. The property was well maintained and clean. The complimentary coffee and fruit was a nice touch. The location was also very convenient to the business meetings we had throughout the Silicon Valley area. I would recommend this hotel to others."

Nobu Hotel Palo Alto

"The hotel kinda smells like sushi fish.... cuz the restaurant is right at the ground floor. I could still smell it in the halls. The design/decor is nice but very plain. The shower had a floor with a weird design which won't dry that well and probably prone to mold. Overall it was fine but I would prob stay somewhere else for the price"
