This historic gem charmed us from the start! Perfect location, beautiful accommodations, and breakfast fit for a king (or queen). We loved the authentic Palermo vibes. Highly recommend!

Wonderful!
Beautiful and classy interior of this boutique hotel tucked away from the main road. It was a little difficult to navigate the side streets to get to the hotel but Rosa the owner was very responsive and waiting for us when we arrived. They were able to take our car right away and park it in a private parking. This was so nice to not have to worry about parking in busy Palermo. The bed was so comfortable! Breakfast was great. Would stay again!

Wow. gorgeous property and only a very short walk to food and sights. We even went out of town via train one day sand that was effortless as well. The staff was easily accessible, and yet we often felt like we had the place to ourselves. wonderful stay.

Great stay!
Very good stay! The staff was very helpful and prompt with anything we needed. The room and facility was just gorgeous! The location was excellent as well - walking distance to all the main sites, bars and restaurants. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone!

A Real Sicilan Palazzo Experience
Great, warm and hospitable service - the rooms were very spacious and clean. The hotel itself was beautiful - a real Sicilian palazzo with marble everywhere. Breakfast included was perfect.

Un magnifique palais, chargé d'histoire et restauré avec beaucoup de goût! Un véritable havre de paix au centre de la ville, puisqu'il se trouve à quelques minutes de marche de tous les attraits touristiques de Palerme. Accueil très chaleureux de la part de Rosa qui est demeurée à notre disposition pendant tout notre séjour. Notre chambre, anciennement celle du poète, était propre, spacieuse et confortable, joliment aménagé! De nombreux espaces de détente sont également mis à la disposition des invités, parfait pour relaxer après avoir visité la ville. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au Palazzo del Poeta et nous n'hésiterons pas à y retourner et à recommander cet endroit à tous ceux qui visiteront Palerme.

A gem of a boutique hotel. Charming rooms. Staff friendly and accomodating. Would have appreciated an elevator for hauling suitcases up the stairs but staff helped. Nice breakfast too.

Palazzo del Poeta is spectacular! After a very challenging drive into town (so many missed turns and one-way micro alleys!), we were feeling a bit shell-shocked at our first time in bustling Palermo. The Palazzo is a sophisticated, quiet, almost glamorous oasis that we really needed after exploring this amazing but sometimes overwhelming city. The staff was very helpful and the accommodations were fabulous. We would absolutely stay again. One suggestion: be sure to check in with staff before and know the location - it is not immediately obvious from outside, especially if you are driving. I neglected to check in beforehand and initially didn't have much luck calling or emailing the hotel when I couldn't find it. I eventually figured out that What's App is the most reliable method. This place is amazing, and may be the reason we'll return to Palermo soon!

Beautiful and unique property, staff very friendly and helpful with anything we needed and tips for things around us, our room was gorgeous. They are renovating the building across from us but it was only noisy during the day, and didn’t bother us at all as we were out and about a lot.

This is not a hotel, but a B&B. There were not outside signs, so it was not easy to find. Access to the property was not easy, and once I got stuck between 2 entry doors; there was no intercom to notify the staff 2 stories up, so I was left to pound on the doors. An advance email from this property advising guests about how to gain access would have been helpful. Otherwise, this is a small quiet property with just a handful of rooms in a very convenient location, a block in from the main via.

dear Mrs. Susan, we are happy that you have chosen us for your stay in Palermo and we are even more so for the fact that, once inside, you were entranced by the beauty and history that surrounds it.At the same time, for the protection of those who read the reviews, it is right to specify that we have never been presented as a hotel but we are a historic home with services like hotels. I am very sorry to read the inconvenience you had in opening the doors, but the electronic key that is delivered to you opens both doors at the same time, both the wooden and the glass one. If one of the two remains closed, just reopen them again with the same key. It's really very simple and I don't understand what your discomfort really was. Also because there is a 24-hour concierge service and in the worst case scenario it was enough to call him by pressing the intercom button. In any case, these are things that do not represent a real problem for a stay and therefore I thank you for giving us a good rating in your review.

The property is unique and grand. The pictures do not do it justice. I believe they are still working on improvements so it will only continue to get better. The staff was wonderfully kind and went above and beyond to be helpful.

Absolutely beautiful property, quality furnishings and room amenities. Breakfast wast typically Italian with fruit and lots of sweet patries, but eggs, hams and cheeses are available on request. There is no dedicated reception area but Rosa is on hand via Whattsapp to book restaurants, answer questions etc. Service from Rosa and Giorgia was 1st class. We loved our stay.

Loved the hotel! So charming, and historic. Close to everything you want to see in Palermo. Lovely and clean, the service and breakfast was excellent! However, finding the hotel was challenging, only a door with a tiny sign.

One of my fav hotels I've ever stayed!!!!
We absolutely loved this hotel! The owner has put so much effort into making it one of the nicest places we have ever stayed! You can really tell she cares very much about the hotel, and also about her guests. We stayed for only 1 night at the very end of our trip, but I wish we had stayed longer here now! The hotel is in a very good location, the room was so beautiful with wonderful amenities. The shared area was cosy with a very good stocked bar, and in the morning the breakfast was so much more than we could have hoped for. I recommend this hotel 100%!!!

This would have been 10 out of 10 if the bathroom shower didnt spill all over the floor eachtime you take a shower. Becides that we loved it and would definitly recommend and stay again. Perfect location, beautiful building etc all that. But the bathroom gets way to wet due 2 the shower.

thanks for the nice words and also for the intention to put 10!we are changing the whole shower system, in a few days they will start installing the first one, right in the room where the problem occurred.actually in the initial project, we created special walls with tempered glass in which the door that opened the bathroom was the same that closed the shower.unfortunately not all customers take care and attention to this very delicate design, forcing the door and even opening it upside down.for this reason, despite the many maintenance carried out, we have now decided to add an additional sliding door so as to solve the problem definitively.I am sorry for the inconvenience you have had, caused by other customers before you, but I hope you will appreciate that we are definitively addressing the problem also thanks to your reports.if you then want to change your vote and give us the 10 that you wrote we deserve, obviously we will be super happy!thanks again for what you will do for us also from all the staff

Lille hotel i historisk bygning. Der er kun 8 værelser i det gamle palæ Det hele er nyrenoveret og indretning er særdeles smart og stilfuldt. Vores værelse bestod af opholdsstue, soveværelse, bad og lille te køkken. Personalet er uhyre hjælpsomme og service er i top. Super beliggenhed i centrum. Centralt men meget rolig.
