"Francesco and Melissa were great hosts in this stunning house. They gave us loads of information on where to go during the days and where to eat in the evenings (excellent restaurant every time). The breakfast was nice and beautifully prepared, like everything else they did (attention to detail was perfect). The room was unbelievable for the price, a huge bedroom, a bathroom bigger than my living room and a massive outside area on the roof with an outdoor shower, which we loved."

"We were very pleasantly surprised by the lovely quality of this B&B. Our room was very spacious, clean with modern facilities. The owner was friendly and helpful with prompt communication. "The Pianelle Resort in heart of Sassi Caveoso was so convenient to so many sites and restaurants nearby. The view as well immediately at the doorstep was breathtaking. The room was spacious and luxurious with exposed stone walls and ceilings which provided an immersive experience if staying in the caves of Matera. The breakfast options too were delicious and highlighted the local produce and cuisine. We had an amazing 2 nights and would definitely return. "
