"Lovely peaceful place. In beautiful surroundings. Very attentive helpful staff. Nice breakfast. Modern shower-room. Good wifi. Views of sheep and hills. Very close to Buckfast Abbey conference centre. They also have a courtesy minivan to collect from stations or give lifts if anyone wants a trip away without a car (but I didn't use that as I had my bike - which was accomodated nicely). Faultless. "

"Our stay was amazing! Hosts Claire and Steve were fantastic, friendly, cooked a plentiful, scrumptious breakfast, and nothing was too much trouble! They had a wealth of local knowledge which was very handy. Our room was extremely clean, and our bed was very comfy! We were recently married and our hosts left a beautiful bottle of red wine and a card in our room which was so thoughtful:) we will definitely be staying at The Clifton on Paignton when in England next."

"Such a lovely property, in a beautiful building, beautiful area, and beautifully decorated. The rooms were spotless and tidy and the beds, comfortable. We can't recommend this property enough. The only slight sadness is that the bathrooms are so small (can't be helped) and the main room doesn't serve breakfast. While it is offered in bedrooms, the common room on the ground floor is beautiful and larger, with the perfect table to invite people to greet one another and build community. "

A lovely charming accommodation with great hosts in a walking distance to the harbour and all the main amenities. "Sonachon house is now under new owners Leanne and Aaron. They were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with full English, cereals, toast, and yoghurt on offer. They also provide some towels for the beach as well as free loan of bucket and spades.There is a spacious communal lounge which was really nice to relax in over a cup of coffee.
