My partner and I had an extreme flooding of our apartment which required us to temporarily stay at a hotel with our pets while being fixed, so we stayed at Abri since it was close to our home. Upon checking in, the man at the front desk requested to check our pets' service animal certifications despite that not being allowed. Every subsequent conversation with this man (all the other staff were lovely and very helpful) was unpleasant as he insinuated that we wouldn't be able to stay much longer as the costs for the hotel would be going up significantly while an event took place in the city (extremely disrespectful as he completely assumed our financial status or ability to pay for the hotel), and most importantly, he told me that we could not extend our hotel room for another night because the entire hotel was booked for this event, but when I looked up hotels in the area that were available, that was not true.
