"Had a wonderful weekend get away in St. Charlies. The house was so close to main street, but far enough away not to hear the noise. The house had everything and more! The water and snacks were a nice touch. Everything was very clean. Would stay here again."

"We enjoyed our stay! The house is well equipped, especially the kitchen. One note for others- it is a split-level house, so there are a few (steep) stairs to navigate. A very quiet neighborhood, just the birds chirping in the surrounding trees."

"We stayed in Washington MO as a point between two other towns we had a tournament in. We had been to Washington before and enjoyed it. The house was very comfortable and welcoming. We would suggest tacking the rug corners down to end tripping hazards (especially in the dark). A few more kitchen implements would have been helpful, i.e. grill tools; beer bottle opener; etc. A table lamp in the master. Some games and puzzles for down time. We did enjoy our stay and appreciated the location."

"We had a great time! The Red Barn was just what we needed for some quiet time to relax and take our time in St. Charles. The location is the perfect distance from the main street so you don't have to walk far to find something to do, but it's also not right on the "main drag" where you'd have people walking by all the time. Thanks for the hospitality!"

"We truly enjoyed our stay. The property was VERY clean. Plenty of towels and the fridge had a crushed ice maker which was awesome! The owner kept in communication with me to make sure everything was going well. He even accommodated an earlier check-in time for us. The beds were EXTREMEMY comfortable. The only issue we had was the foot traffic of the guests/visitors in the upstairs unit. Other than that, we would definitely stay again."

"The property was as described! We were in the area for our National Dog Show at Purina Farms Event Center for a week. The location was perfect distance to Purina. There was ample green space to walk the dogs. The property manager was very responsive to any questions we had. I highly recommend this property and will be staying again in the future!"

"Location is close to the interstate making it accessible to the airport and an easy drive to downtown St. Louis. Just a short drive to the quaint downtown St. Charles which we took advantage for a quick meal at Lewis and Clark. Owners are responsive and check in/out was easy. Accommodations were clean and kitchen has updated appliances. Great fenced backyard was perfect for our pup."

"This is an old home remodeled into a two bedroom home. We were looking for a place to get a nights rest half way thru our drive. This fit the purpose. This is an old home with an unusual layout. One bedroom is only accessible thru the other bedroom or the bathroom. This worked fine for my family but is unusual. There was a slight smell to the place. Maybe from old smoke? Not sure but noticeable when you enter. Beds were comfortable. Shower and products nice. My dog was welcomed with a tie out...

"Pictures do not do this place justice. We just stayed with 6 kids and 6 adults. There were tons of activities to keep everyone busy, from swimming to kayaking to ping pong, we were never bored. The property is beautifully maintained and the bonus game room was a real hit!"
