"I had an excellent stay at the Holiday Inn Chicago SW in Countryside. I chose this hotel because it was close in proximity to shopping, food, and attractions. The only con I had was the pool being out of service for the summer. I tend to think hotels say this to keep children out of their hair, but with the exception to that it was a great stay and my son and I had a really great time in the area and rested comfortably"
"This was one of our favorite places we have ever stayed! It was clean, decorated beautifully, had comfortable beds, a refrigerator with an ice maker and filtered water, washer and dryer that worked great, a cool backyard with hammocks, and even little things like coffee creamer, toothpaste, and mouthwash in case you forgot yours. We stayed in three different rental places on our trip and this was by far our favorite! What a beautiful home! "
"We stayed here with a group of 8 women. The house was super clean and in a quiet, safe neighborhood, which we appreciated. The two upstairs bedrooms were roomy, and the bathrooms were a decent size. We especially loved the back deck — it was a peaceful spot to sit and have coffee in the morning.The space felt a bit tight for eight people, and the kitchen wasn’t well-stocked for a group that size — it was missing some basic bakeware. Toilet paper and other supplies were also limited, so be sure to bring extras just in case. Laundry detergent was provided, though, which was a nice bonus.There weren’t any clear checkout instructions, and a heads-up: don’t park on the street — we ended up getting a ticket.That said, Bart, the host, was super helpful and quick to respond whenever we had questions, which made things easier. Overall, even with the few minor things, we had a good stay and I’d stay here again."
"Overall a good stay!The host was great—very responsive and even provided check-in details early when we noticed a discrepancy in the listed time (VRBO shows 3pm, but actual check-in is 4pm). The unit had plenty of dishes and essentials to eat off of, which was a nice touch.A few things to note: the AC unit is wall-mounted and doesn’t cool each room individually. The entrance has steep stairs, which might be difficult for some, and the location felt a bit off at first—just something to be aware of. Also, the second bedroom isn’t pictured in the listing, so it would be helpful for future guests to have that added."
