Quad room was large and had everything we needed including a fridge. The bathroom was spacious and modern. The buses were easy to navigate and an easy trip to the centre of town. Only a three minute walk to bus stop. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice and you are sat in a beautiful conservatory overlooking the back garden watching the birds and squirrel’s. I would definitely stay again.

Comfortable room, great shower, excellent info from Shivam about rules regarding driving into Oxford and options for dinner. He also helped us out with a large ice bucket as the room didn’t have a fridge.
Breakfast was great and the parking was free! Very happy with our stay.

Modern and refurbished hotel, front of house desk and it was air conditioned. Staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. Breakfast cooked to your preference.

Faded glory, would have seemed luxurious in the 90s. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, but no fridge (definitely a cupboard where it used to be), no cast facility on the TV, tv had a damaged area of the screen.
Breakfast was great, lovely coffee from the machines.
Staff were a little dispirited, but nice enough.

Helen Browning's Royal Oak was exactly as pictured on the booking site. The rooms were very quirky and comfortable. Definitely not the biggest room we have stayed in but perfectly functional. The communal area more than made up for this and gave us somewhere to chill out. Dinner and breakfast were really good as was the atmosphere in the bar. It is off the main highway a bit but well worth the effort.

We loved the old country pub and hospitality. After a quick walk around the village we settled in for a few ales a fantastic dinner ad a good night sleep. Our breakfast was included which was fantastic as it was a full English breakfast cooked to perfection. Loved our time there and would highly recommend for anyone

This was one of the prettiest places we've ever stayed in. Breakfast was delicious and personalised, wonderfully renovated pub and hotel rooms. Staff were really friendly and great pub to enjoy a drink or eat in. Comfortable, quiet and extremely relaxing with added bonus of bath and sash windows which opened to look out at the front of the property. PERFECT!!

A lovely old style English pub. On the day it was difficult to drive to because the motorway exit nearby was unexpectedly closed, but that was not the fault of the pub!
A showe curtain around the shower would be an improvement.

Good location. Stairwell to rooms had loose handrail but everything else was good.
Good entertainment in room. Available food was fine but got brioche bun when ordered a bap.

The Ferryman's Cottage have cute rooms, which have both heating and cooling if required. We had to keep blinds closed as the pub guests walk past our windows.
The bed was comfy and the nespresso machine was very much appreciated.
The only drawback is the sound. When other guests are going to their rooms it sounds like they are literally in the same room. We could hear people taking in the room above, but with earplugs all was well. They weren't noisy.
The food had been talked up and we had high...
