"I couldn’t give a five-star rating due to a couple of issues we encountered during our stay.First, there was a lingering sewage-like smell that appeared only after flushing the toilet or using the shower. It seems to be related to the older plumbing in the building.Additionally, we noticed some visible grime on the legs of the kitchen table—possibly old food or something similar—with an unpleasant odor.We brought both issues to the attention of the property manager, Adam, who was very responsive and assured us he would address the concerns with the cleaning staff.Also, for those unfamiliar with Midtown, it’s worth researching the area beforehand. The street has a certain historic charm, but it may not be considered one of the more desirable neighborhoods.That said, Adam was very pleasant, responsive, and easy to work with. I was promised a 20 credit for the issues, but haven’t seen that yet.I would consider staying here again if the plumbing and cleanliness issues are resolved.Thank you."
