Staff was exceedingly friendly and helped solve a problem with our rental car which nearly caused us to miss an international flight.

The place is wide and if you travel with children they can enjoy the bathtub and the spacious place.

The keg in the room, the hot tub on the balcony, and the snow make winkle village magical. We were also able to get a discount to the local ski area and we walked there

It's a lovely small property that can hold a surprising amount of people very easily. It's slightly on the older side, however the owner is very attentive and will fix issues on the spot if notified. Great town with excellent architecture.
We spent one night, travelling between Sapporo and Niseko, to see the Light festival along the canal. We wish we had spent two nights! Otaru is a hidden gem, with lots to see. The lights along the canal are beautiful. The glass shops are lovely!
