A great choice of hotel in Otaru. Great location, right on the main tourist street in the town. Excellent modern property with a cultural and historical twist. Very good breakfast with both Japanese and western options. I highly recommend this property and would stay here again if visiting Otaru ...

Friendly staff, good location. However room cleaning is not everyday. Sometimes the bathroom smells. The public bath is good. Gym only open after 1:00 pm. Hope they can have water or tea in the lobby while people are waiting to check in exactly at 3:00 pm. There are lots of choices for the buffet ...

Perfect place if you’d like to be amongst nature or forestry. Loved the tranquil environment. Kids had a good time in the sauna and fireplace.

Room was nice. The issue is the location of the apartment. It was located at the top of the hill. From the map, it seems close to the train station and local attraction. But climb up the hill is an issue.

Great town with excellent architecture.
We spent one night, travelling between Sapporo and Niseko, to see the Light festival along the canal. We wish we had spent two nights! Otaru is a hidden gem, with lots to see. The lights along the canal are beautiful. The glass shops are lovely!
