"On arrival to the property ( it’s located on the 3rd floor) , there was extensive building works in the small hall, and a very strong smell of cooking. "Our room was big and cool through the good air conditioner but the hotel itself was very old, also our shower and the metal parts of it were loose and fell on our first day. We told it immediately to the hotel owner but only after contacting Expedia it was fixed by the staff. "GC14 is ‘basic’ in some ways and has minimal facilities (although rooms have the essentials) but it’s in a great location for exploring Palermo on foot or by bus and making day-trips elsewhere in Sicily.
