It's alright if you just need a place to stay. The area right by the central station and a settlement of homeless people did not feel that safe. Room was fine with a nice balcony. Bed was ROCK hard. All in all seems cost was above comfort. Also had signs saying you couldn't bring food to you room.

5th floor room with balcony. Although overlooks the train station any noise didnt bother us at all and at night with doors closed absolute silenece. Easy 10\15min walk to norman palace Ideal location and safe.

Water in the fridge restocked every day Coffee machine with pods restocked in the room Bed was good Giant balcony Friendly staff Modern rooms Right next to the station so bus and train connections are easy You do have to walk a bit to get to the main area but its not too bad, couldn't find much options for dinner in the area There's a park close by that has some sketchy folk in it but they keep a low profile to avoid the police, who are stationed nearby anyway If you are getting breakfast I'd avoid the cafe next-door as it is a complete rip off, Torrefazione Amato was much better and is very close

Convenient Local

Beautiful stay. The hotel room we had was large and clean. We loved the balcony, The outside of the hotel was very dirty with garbage all over the place. Definitely need someone to pick up the numerous bottles and garbage. Very close to bus and train stations.

These apartments are modern, clean and well located. A little difficult to find as the location on the map puts it right in the train station. Once you find the place you need to check in at the hotel that the apparent are above. Once you figure that out you are good to go. Would defiantly recommend for your stay in Palermo.

Nice hotel in not so nice area

Room was spacious with a kitchen off the balcony. That was a little awkward as you had to go outside then open a separate door to the kitchen. Balcony was pleasant. The area was right across the street from the train station. The neighborhood was a little sketchy but what I found interesting was the lack of good restaurants. And the fact that most stores, bars, restaurants closed from 3-7 pm.

Hotel’s location in google maps is wrong. Breakfast is very limited, I would not think it as breakfast included. Elevator gets stuck frequently. They asked for cash payments, accepted credit cart after I insisted.

Wonderful apartment is great location.

The apartment itself was wonderful - spacious and clean. We found the location very good - directly opposite the train and bus station (though not noisy or unsafe), and just a 10-minute stroll to the main centre. We did have trouble locating the apartments as they are not signed, but are on the top floor of the 55 Aira Hotel, the staff of which were friendly and helpful. When we were there at the end of March/beginning of April the hotel was packed with teenage school children every day which made the general areas of the hotel extremely busy and noisy, especially around meal times. However, we didn't experience any late-night noise. We'd definitely consider staying there again due to the standard of the apartment, its location and ease of public transport to/from the airport.

How can I put into words? My heart belongs to this accommodation… At our arrival, we were served by two beautiful Sicilian receptionist ready to serve us 24/7. Arrived at our room (completely renovated), we were pleased with a room with 2 bed smelling like the goddess Venus herself. Outside, a terrace the size of my studio showcased the Sicilian mountain chains and Palermo. The kitchen was complete and all new. Every morning, an angel would refurnish all the soaps and do our beds. While eating an arancini on the terrace, you’ll live the true Sicilian luxury. The doors are hard to open for some reason, but to open the paradise doors we must earn it.

Room had beg bugs. No solution other than to spray the bed with a chemical. Hotel tried to only offer a voucher instead of a refund. Staff member let it slip that the room had had complaints of bed bugs in the past. Why not try to remedy the solution not continue to offer the room up to be booked? Staff also tried to say that there were no bugs howerver I provided proof and had to fight to get a refund which I still have not received. Will work with my CC company to get a full refund.
