"The Villa Aloni exceeded all our expectations in terms of quality and facilities. We were looking for somewhere in "hidden Crete" and this property in Maza gave us a sense of rural remoteness but with access to the national road (and easy drives to Hania and Rethymnon) in 5 minutes. The villa was excellently equipped with every modern convenience (except a dishwasher which might have been an asset for a larger party). "The hotel is in an excellent location, right on the edge of the Old Town, 5 minutes walk from the harbour. Had a very good superior room, with balcony, on the top floor (4th) facing the old town with the sea in the distance. The room was fairly basic, but clean, with a good bed and bathroom. The swimming pool area was better than in the photos , and pleasant enough to spend time lounging around. The inclusive breakfast was very good, with a wide range of hot and cold options to choose from. The bus station is 20 minutes away, and offers good routes to other towns and beaches. I would definitely stay again."

"We had an excellent, if short, stay. The hotel should really be 4 stars, hands down. Room (suite) was impecable, great furnishings and bedding, staff accommodating and free parking very convenient. The location is as best it can be, right in the harbor, with magnificent views. The only place we will consider if we return to Chania."

"Excellent location in the heart of the old town. The staff were wonderful, friendly, and always willing to help. A special mention goes to Vasilis, who went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Breakfast on the rooftop was exceptional, offering stunning views of the seafront and lighthouse. Overall, this is a wonderful hotel in every way, and I would definitely stay here again."

"The property was the best we experienced in Athens however the only draw back was the lack of an elevator - Gad to climb 3 flights of stairs with luggage- even a type of conveyor belt for luggage would have been appreciated. A little noisy at night but it did due die about 12:30"
