"Excellent location Service level and maintenance of the property needs to raised to a much higher level. Payment for beach towels and just about everything as an add on cost etc for a resort or this calibre drops the value for money experience. No tea and coffee in a resort unit! Nor bottled drinking water! Fantastic location and lovely town and the front desk can do better to explain the use of facilities. Dining hall appears like a mass production unit."

"I recently stayed at Grupotel Marítimo in Mallorca. While there are some strong positives, the drawbacks significantly affected my overall experience. Pros: The staff were exceptionally helpful and genuinely went above and beyond throughout the stay. The location is excellent — very close to the beach and easy to reach on foot. Breakfast was a standout, with a great variety of fresh, high-quality options. Cons: Sound insulation between rooms is extremely poor. You can clearly hear conversations and noise from neighbouring rooms, which made it difficult to relax or sleep properly. The hotel allows smoking, and cigarette smoke regularly drifts into rooms from nearby balconies. This was a major inconvenience and made the room uncomfortable at times. Overall: Grupotel Marítimo offers great service, a convenient location, and a fantastic breakfast, but improvements in soundproofing and stricter controls around smoking would significantly enhance the guest experience."

"We booked a double bedroom and having 2 singles put together does not constitute a double in my mind. Everything was really clean and toiletries were provided. The only other slight let down was due to a power cut on the last day. Despite the power cut, the staff said that we'd only be able to stay in the room until 2pm at which point we'd need to evacuate. This left a slight sour taste. In the end, the power came back on and we were able to have a shower and check out before noon but shrugging your shoulders and saying it would not be possible to stay in the room after 2pm was lacking customer service in my mind."

"Towels are provided free of charge, even on check out day! The breakfast and dinner buffets were very nice but drinks added up, with water being $3.50 for a bottle. I think cocktails were €9-€12ish and bottles of wine started at €25ish. You provide your room number for drinks you get at dinner and pay at checkout. The cocktails at the poolside nighttime entertainment were same price as dinner. Lots of servers so it was quick to order, but only a couple bartenders so took a while for drinks to come out."
