Cheap Hotels & Resorts in Old Mountain View

"Location is great and the staff are friendly and very personable. This is truly a benefit as the hotel has undergone several ownership transitions since I started visiting about a decade ago. Facilities are undergoing renovation a floor at a time, so some rooms are better than others. However the restaurant is great, with seasonal menu changes, and the location adjacent to the lagoon has wildlife and nice walkability. "

"We booked the Hyatt to catch a Niner game but we came early and booked 3 nights to take the kids to the boardwalk and San Fran. When we arrived, Eric at check in set us up with a stadium view. The hotel itself is beautiful and in good shape, the pool area and restaurant/bar is really nice. The food at the restaurant was good and fairly priced. Our room was nice, a little tight with 4 of us but we knew that and it was great having a separate bedroom for us parents. The sofa pull out was big enough for both kids and one is 6ft tall. The bed was comfortable. The shower was decent. Parking was easy. The elevator was a little squirrly but fine. One elevator was down while there but it was never too crowded. Check out was easy and my bill was as expected, no hidden fees. We walked back from the game and it was not bad. The vibe in hotel is more upscale and relaxed. It was a great stay! We will be back. "

"Rooms were clean and comfortable - easy parking, and 4 min drive to the airport. Perfect before/after a flight. Not a ton of food immediately nearby, but a short drive to good restaurants."

"Safe and cozy. Closest best option to be near Stanford hospital while a family member was admitted there. Clean and welcoming. Good proximity for other needs and shopping. "

"Overall this property was clean, updated with comfortable bed. There were many entrances from the outside and what we did not like was there were rooms on the outside of the locking hotel doors which require a key card to get in. Which adds an additional layer of security. One of our rooms was at the top of the outdoor staircase before you had to scan to enter the hallway and other rooms. Few homeless camps outside along the street but we didn't have any negative interactions or feeling the parking lot was unsafe. It did get loud as soon as the flights started in the morning but otherwise it was a quiet convenient place. I liked the water bottle filling station as well as coffee and tea station near the lobby. "We were visiting Filoli a few miles away and booked this inexpensive hotel. I settled on it, because of the high customer ratings. My partner and I were very pleased with the accommodation and the staff. The establishment is getting an entire makeover, and everything was clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend it, and stay there again. By the way, I normally stay at Marriott! "
