Staff were outstanding and responsive to all requests and questions. Nice dining area and presentation. Great central location to Grasmere village. "Had a fabulous 5 days here. Staff were very attentive and professional at all times. Rooms clean and food, both breakfast and at dinner was extremely good. Only criticism was the wifi in the room we had which overlooked the lake was very very poor. "
"We had a lovely stay for our 25th Wedding Anniversary, we upgraded our room to Super Deluxe which was very spacious and had a great view of the lake. A card was left in our room wishing us a happy anniversary which was a nice touch. Perfect location, breakfast was good and staff were exceptional. Our room wasn’t ready until 4 which is what the hotel states as check in time, this is a bit later than most hotels but we enjoyed a drink at the bar while we waited. Overall a lovely relaxing stay and we would definitely return. "
