"The hotel is next to the train tracks and there are trains running as early as 6 am and late at night. You can hear the train loud and clear. The room and washroom are very small and limited space to walk around. They have no tissue in the washroom."

"Hotel was unable to supply items usually available in decent stays--power converter, corkscrew. Hotel was inflexible in check in times when request was very reasonable. Bar service at roof top pool ended at 5 pm during perfect pool side weather. Staff gave poor advice as to local area, simple advice as to where to shop etc. Restaurant only offered buffet service--not needed when a small meal or snack was sufficient. President's hotel room was large but no pictures on bare walls, furniture is falling apart (literally), in room amenities were a minimum for an upscale booking. "

Good points: Very nice pool and outdoor bar area Very good restaurant (although very expensive) Great breakfast Friendly staff Bad points: Both our sink and shower waste were very slow to drain, this meant the shower flooded out the cubical and into the bathroom The bathroom smelt bad (assume to do with the wastes again) On site parking expensive (€25 per day) and could be (should be?) subsidised for guests of the hotel The layout of the hotel is confusing - not much they can do about this, it’s multiple buildings combined, and the change in ground levels across the property does not help. The lifts are terrible"

"The hotel rooms have a sewage problem which releases a horrible smell in the rooms through the bathroom drain. The housekeeper covered the drain with the trash can, but that doesn’t help. I booked several rooms in this hotel and all had the same issue. I can’t understand why the rooms I booked were not close by. I’ve never had that happen before. The security is great, the young man who worked the day shift is the best thing the hotel has going for them. The rest of the staff are clueless, I’m sorry to say. The cafe adjoining is actually very good. That staff is wonderful and the coffee was one of the best during my 3 weeks stay in Portugal. However over all the hotel looks good at a glance, but has staff who need training (especially the night crew) and needs to fix the sewage issue. Location is very convenient, but I would never return to this hotel. "

"Room was clean and nice layout with the extra couch/pull out bed. Bathroom recently renovated and room was nice. Would recommend to travellers in the area, especially if want a place near the airport but still comfortable."

"I had a great stay at Exe Liberdade in Lisbon and would definitely recommend it. The location is very central and convenient—easy access to public transportation and a great base for exploring the city. The room was larger than expected, very clean, and comfortable, which made it easy to relax after long days out. Room service was also very convenient, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, a comfortable, well-located hotel with everything you need for a smooth stay in Lisbon."

"Love the hotel & staff super kind , only issue was we were hoping to use the pool since we booked this place specifically for that reason…. They told us is only open during summer time (even though it was hot ) and that it wouldn’t even be open until 2027 since they are remodeling it. Wish we would of known. Besides this we love the location & it’s great from families, we gave a 2 year old & a 4 year old. We still had a wonderful time!"
